seals/pads

Dear all, 

I ordered replace seals/pads for bar above the windshield. The old are missing. 
The new seals are repro and I can’t fully lock softop latches. 
Maybe originals are more soft or I have to make some adjustment of the latches?

I have try both sides, but don’t work.
Maybe my seals are too hard and can’t be smashed from latches?

Hello Stan,

the originals are not very soft either. I think, if you managed to squeeze them in, they are soft enough.
The other option is, that they don't have the exact size. But it doesn't look completely wrong on your picture.

Hello Stan,
I had the same problem.
I pushed the lever with a lot of power, then it worked.
After that it is good to let the soft top closed for some days….
