Hallo,

gibt es eine Möglichkeit bei meinem 1980 er US Modell das Produktionsdatum ( also den Monat ) herauszufinden ?
Die VIN lautet WDB 10704412061818, sofern dies hilfreich ist.

Auf was bezieht sich das Datum? Fertigstellung des Wagens oder Produktionsbeginn? Wo kann man das selbst nachschauen?

Immer Schlussabnahme oder manchmal Auslieferung. Ein Produktionsbeginn ist nicht definiert, da Gewerke parallel und unabhängig starten . Und diese Daten sind nicht zugänglich

Zumindest bei den jüngeren Baujahren (1983 zB), steht es bei lastvin.com dabei. Bei dem 1980er hier nicht

Bei lastvin scheint der Produktionsabschluß drin zu stehen. Bei mir ist das 05/1988. Im Inspektionsbuch steht dann die Übergabekontrolle für den 5.7.1988 in Knoxville / Tennessee drin, was realtiv schnell nach Produktion wäre.

Je nah FIN bekommt man sogar bis zu 3 Daten genannt:
- Release Date (Auf den Tag genau). Das müsste der Tag der Endkontrolle sein
- Delivery Date (Auslieferungsdatum, auf den Tag genau)
- Approx. Build Date (Auf den Monat genau)
