PREMIUM UNLEABED GASOLINE ONLY ?

Hallo
Treibe ich SL 107, da ich meinen Führerschein erhalten habe, hat 6 und 8 zylinder. mein neu 560sL seit fast 8 Jahren gekauft. Ich habe das Etikett für den blei frei benzin über Schalterlicht es Spruchs (PREMIUM UNLEABED GASOLINE ONLY) heute ich habe bemerkt dies nicht bemerkt, wie kommt, tippend UNLEADED in UNLEABED?sieht den befestigten foto

Ich versteh nur Bahnhof, worum geht es hier? Kann das mal jemand uebersetzen? Ich dachte, man kann nur Kamele treiben...

es muß "unleaded" (bleifrei) heißen.

Hi Saleem,

using those conversion programs is funny at first, becomes quite annoying after a while. From the used phrases, one can easily infer that the input language was english, therefore I assume you are capable of posting in english (Treibe-Drive, da-since, Spruch-saying). If you want a proper translation, which by the way could be used by you and others to imrove on german language skills, justs say so. There will be takers who can do that.

so, did I understand correctly that there is a mislabeled sticker in your 560? Or are you inquiring about the fuel quality to be used?!

As I think that the fuel qualities (and prices, greetings back home ) are similar in both our regions: I usually use "premium" for my 560 which equals 98oct, "special" usually is 95, used in my everyday car. I havent seen a lesser quality around here.
Otherwise I would guess that the sticker was made by someone whose spelling was worse than babelfishs translation.

I was inquiring how such mistake placed without checking in final control?It might be printing mistake instead of "D" printed to "B",regarding fuel our fuel is 95 octane, also we do have 98 octain.Some time I add octane booster mixing by fuel ,this well icreases octane by up to 10 points in regular UNLEADED GASOLINE also reduces knocks and ping,clean fuel injectors.Here we are processing gasoline with 115 RON (Research octane number) this kind of gasoline is mixed by low octane gasoline to increases the performance replacing lead.

Hi Saleem,

compare with attached picture. You either have a after market sticker, a knockoff or a really low quality picture. Not everything that you find in a Mercedes is from Daimler Benz. I also found it curious that you have level adjustment for your headlamps, that was never offered on a 560SL in the US as far as I know. Do you know the background?

I think this is not the original dashbord for that , I was wondering how comes the front head light adjustable with the U.S version,also might be not original labe or issued after market.
