Motor instandsetzung 450SL was created by lordelgin
Ich habe einen 450 SL  Bj. 1974 US import Motor 117982 leider sind beide Zylinderköpfe stark beschädigt und nicht reparabel. Meine Werkstatt will jetzt Zylinderköpfe vom 350SLC aufbauen . Ist das möglich und wenn was ist zu beachten ???  Für eine Antwort währe ich sehr dankbar . Danke Wolfgang

...theoretisch möglich aber unsinnig, da genug 450er Köpfe gebraucht verfügbar sind ! 

Außerdem sollte man schon wissen, was man da zusammenbaut, es gibt einige entscheidende Änderungen allein an den M 117 Köpfen !

Soweit ich weiss, muss man darauf achten, dass die Ölkanäle auch zum Block passen...
Früher war alles gut, heute ist alles besser.
Besser wär es, wenn alles wieder gut wär.
