Hi everybody,

I would like to check the fuel pressure (both system pressure and working pressure) at the distributor.
It is a 1987 500SL (EU) . What would be the "factory" settings?
I am also looking for the correct values (volt and ohms) at the pins of the potentiometer, who can help me?

Hi Luc,

you will find correct pressure values at SLpedia in workshop manual chapter 07.3-120 . I recommend that you measure ON-OFF ratio first and do not start to fiddle with potentiometer. You should have an oscilloscope and understand reference voltage and potentiometer incl. noise before you do so.
