-88 560 engine coolant

I have been reading a lot about coolant for this engine, but there are too many "experts" out there, and I am honestly a bit confused.
Some recommend G05, others G11 for aluminium engines. I would appreciate if someone could tell me what kind of coolant is the best for this engine  . Cheers

with  Glysantin G48  you should be safe.

Or other coolants that comply with MB regulation 325.0 for coolants.
We already had a few threads here reporting gelly-like stuff in the cooling system after mixing non-compatible coolants and this let me stay with coolants that comply with this regulation.

G05 and G48 is very old stuff. The best on the market of course... 30 years ago. Nowadays there's much better cooling liquid available, but unfortunately no updates for the old cars of the past century. So if you take a look in the old service manuals, you'll always remain in G05/G48.
