PDF nach Update nicht lesbar / not readable after update

der neueste Kunena Update hat einen neuen Fehler produziert: PDF Anhänge können nicht mehr geöffnet werden. Da muss ich mich demnächst drum kümmern.

I could do a quick and dirty fix on embedded PDFs. When you click on Download PDF it will work. Buttons below your post will not work. I have opened a bug report to Kunena.

Ich konnte eine schnelle und unsaubere Behebung des Problems bei eingebundenen PDFs machen. When Ihr auf "Download PDF" im Post klickt, geht es. Bei den Schaltflächen unterhalb des Posts geht es nicht. Ein Bug Report ist bei Kunena eröffnet.

after discussing with the developer, it seems that opening PDFs via buttons underneath post is working again. However the old error that Kunena reports ONLY IN FIREFOX

Instead of showing a preview of pdf file still is there. I do not see an easy solution to it. PDF file names are encrypted and loose their ending "-pdf". That is why Firefox refuses to open them in interal PDF viewer. Then you have to click on "Download PDF" and view them externally. I have discussed this whole day today with developer and tried many things. Internet Explorer is fine with this. But I am amfraid that HTML standard says you should check file ending before you open it. That will create headache to the developer.

Nach einer Diskussion mit dem Entwickler funktionieren die PDFs über die Knöpfe unterhalb des Beitrags jetzt wieder.. Aber das alte Problem, dass NUR DIE FIREFOX Nutzer die Meldung im Beitrag

statt einer Vorschau auf die PDF Datei bekommen, bleibt erhalten.

ich habe eine Gewaltmethode angewendet und jetzt funktioniert die PDF Vorschau wie in Thermozeitschalter zu sehen auch im Firefox. Wahrscheinlich wird sich der Entwickler beim Anblick meiner Lösung schütteln. Aber was soll es!

I used a brute force method and now PDF preview works as well in Firefox as you can see in Thermozeitschalter . Probably the developer will vomit when he sees my solution. But so what for the time being!
