Hallo zusammen,

würde bei meinem 116er, 280SE von 1975 mit 4 Gang Schaltgetriebe gerne das Getrieböl und Diff Öl tauschen. Welche Öle benötige ich dazu.

Ich wollte jetzt keine neue Öldiskussion beginnen. Ich bin mir nur nicht sicher was da genau rein kommt und welche Mengen. Vielleicht kann mir ja geholfen werden. Schon mal vielen Dank im Voraus.

Moin zusammen,

für unsere alten Automatikgetriebe ist das ATF Dexron II die Wahl, ist auch in der BEVO Liste Herstellerfreigabe: MB 236.6 des Freundlichen aufgeführt.

Willy hat ja schon die BA als Link eingesetzt.
Natürlich auch neue Ölwannendichtung, Filter, Dichtring der Ölwannenablassschrauben und Wandlerschraube verwenden

Hallo zusammen,

danke für die Infos die helfen mir ja schon mal sehr weiter.

Eine Frage habe ich aber noch. Im Differential Hinterachse gibt es ja die Unterscheidung MIT oder OHNE Ausgleichsgetriebe ! Demzufolge benötige ich ja auch ein anderes Öl. Wo finde ich diese Info ausser auf dem Differential ? Da ich keine Hebebühne habe, kann ich das schlecht nachschauen !

Wie geschrieben, es geht um einen W116, 280SE von 1975.

Guten Morgen,

also bei dem 280 bin ich mir fast sicher das er kein Sperrdifferential hat. Normalerweise steht es auf der kleine Ecke inten am Diff eingeschlagen wo auch die Übersetzung steht. Aber du kannt auch eine ganz einfachen Test machen. Du hebst das Fahrzeug hinten an das beide Räder frei sind. Dann drehst du mit der Hand an einem Rad, dreht sich das andere in die andere Richtung hast du keine Sperre, dreht es sich in die gleiche Richtung hast du eine Sperre.

Ich wollte demnächst das Automatik-Getrieböl wechseln, leider ist die Betriebsstoffvorschrift 236.6 nicht mehr erreichbar, sie wurde ersetzt durch 236.7 und 236.9
Hat evtl. noch jemand ein Bild oder PDF von der alten Liste 236.6 ??

Guten Tag zusammen,
habe mir gerade noch einen 280 SE, W 116, Baujahr 1979 zugelegt, bei dem das Differentialgetriebe ein wenig heult. Ich würde gerne das Öl wechseln. Was soll ich da einfüllen?

Hallo Peter ich habe bei meinem 500er in Differential - Getriebe das Rektol Gear 500 SAE 80W-90 eingefüllt.

Hallo Peter,

nimm das von Mercedes freigegebene SAE 90 und gebe Liquidität Moly Getriebe Additiv hinzu. Wenn das nichts bringt (wovon ich eigentlich ausgehe), Diff aufarbeiten lassen oder tauschen. 3,58er sollte es noch einigermaßen gut geben, die waren auch in anderen Baureihen  verbaut.

...der 116er hat aber ein 3,69er !  Shell Spirax MB 85W/90 war lange Zeit das original Öl !

Meine Wahl bei den MB Hypoidgetrieben ist hier immer das vollsynthetische Castrol Transmax (früher Syntrax) Limited Slip 75W-140 ohne jegliche Zusätze, egal ob Sperrdiff oder nicht. Da das ggf. in einem Shitstorm ausartet weil "zu modern", betone ich hier, dass dies ausdrücklich keine Empfehlung ist sondern nur eine Schilderung dessen, was ich benutze.

Ich habe in meinen 560er das Red Line Synthetik Öl aus den USA in das Getriebe und das Extra-Differential-Öl eingefüllt. Mein SL fuhr noch nie so geschmeidig, wie mit diesem Öl. Fahre das auch in anderen älteren Fahrzeugen. Ich betone, dass das "mein" Öl ist und ich niemals eine Empfehlung aussprechen würde...

Nimm das was Christian schreibt 85/90 hab ich bei meinem 350er auch drauf stinkt wie verrückt das Hypogid Öl .

Beim Diff. immer erst die Einfüllschraube lösen , sonst evtl. kein Öl mehr drauf und die einfüllschraube lässt sich nicht lösen ( meine waren richtig fest ).

Sehe ich genau ähnlich. 85-90er mit Additiv, allerdings ohne die Hoffnung, dass das Heulen dann weg ist. Also schon mal nach einem Austasuchdiff suchen ...
