Disappointing support from Cabriodoc

I tried to order the Cohline 3124 fuel line and got this response.

"Hi,
very sorry. Due to Corona and Brexit we can not ship to England. So we had to chancel your order.
With seasonal greetings
Frank"

Strange that it is no problem for other European suppliers to ship to the UK.

Last week, I ordered some parts in UK - The SL shop - which deliverd me the parts inbetween 2 days: fast and without any problems. And the SL Shop is/will be "affected" both from Corona and Brexit, too. Besides that, the Brexit - if it comes - will come just in three weeks ...

Couldn´t you find your part there?

I guess that Corona is not his problem. It will rather be Brexit and the pending no-deal scenario. Who knows what will happen to deliveries without customs declaration that ship still in 2020 and arrive in early 2021? A difficult question.

No problem as I was able to purchase from another German supplier for a lower price. One thing for sure, the world will keep turning.

Frank, cabriodoc, ist vorsichtig. Durch COVID-19 fat ein normaler Brief, Luftpost, 4 Wochen gebraucht. Der Brief hat 14 Tage in Frankfurt gelegen. Jetzt kommt dazu die UK Test machen wegen der zukünftigen Zollabfertigung. Die UK hat immer eine grenzabfertigung gemacht, die ganzen Büros gibt es seit 2000 nicht mehr und alles , incl. Straßenführung muss neu geplant und gebaut werden. LKW Staus von 5 km sind auf beiden Seiten vom Kanal momentan die Tatsache. Wenn man gluck hat dauert das warten 4-5 std.
Der Export von Uk ist bedeutend einfacher weil das empfangerland innlandverzollung zulasst.
